The intelligence of the cv.BULKSORT comes from the vision and an identifica¬tion system.
On the celluveyor, objects are tracked with 3D cameras. Our vision system detects an object in real time and is able to correct deviations of the path instantly so that the desired exit is always reached.
Likewise, we use an identification system that can recognize either barcodes, QR codes or other labels. Sorting by character¬istics (e.g., size or quantity) is also possible.
How it works
The cv.BULKSORT singulates, orients and sorts an object bulk (2D bulk) into an or¬ganized stream. The technical clue is the celluveyor technology: the modular hard¬ware is controlled by a smart software. The eye of the software is a vision system based on four 3D cameras that track what is happening on the celluveyor cells.
The shortest path to the desired sort¬ing exit is calculated by an artificial in¬telligence. The sorting criteria of the cv.BULKSORT for processing the chaotic bulk is implemented according to the customer’s requirements.
