This historic car manufacturer has enlarged their engine plant with state–of-the-art
storage equipment. In various parts of the new building, large blocks of live storage were
installed to enable quick picking of cylinder heads, cranks and other engine components
according to the strict FIFO principle. For the typical automotive stillages and plastic pallet,
Euroroll has designed a special solution. A new side profile was equipped with an integrated
lateral guide. The stillages now run smoothly and reliably from the loading to the picking
point. The double separator with extra high retaining stop keeps the first pallet free from
any line pressure from the pallets following behind.
