Element Logic, a comprehensive provider of AutoStore solutions, and Microsoft have developed a cloud-based data platform that uses data from multiple sources to optimize warehouse operations in real time.
The new tool, called eLogiq, collects, analyzes, shares and uses existing data streams to help companies make faster and better decisions about optimizing warehouse operations. In the long term, the goal is to achieve a fully automated warehouse solution that optimizes itself based on data.
“Uncertainty about the future forces us to respond quickly in the field of intralogistics and goods handling. Having access to data aids decision-making and is crucial to surviving, optimizing operations and logistics, and remaining profitable in a changing market,” said Dag-Adler Blakseth, CEO of Element Logic.
“The new platform, based on the Microsoft Azure platform and developed by Element Logic, represents an important step in optimizing warehouse operations,” says Daniel Reime, Global Partner Solutions Leader at Microsoft Norway. In his opinion, “allowing access to data generates numerous opportunities for improvement, efficiency and growth, which translates into great competitive advantages for companies that adopt the platform.”
