Element Logic has invested NOK 15 million (€1.5 million) in OmniMod, a Norwegian startup developing cutting-edge technology in the field of logistics automation. One of the main solutions that the company offers is a modular system that enables multiple functions, from automatic storage to sequencing and classification of packages for companies of all sizes through the use of artificial intelligence.
OmniMod was founded in 2020 by Tobias Drage Roti and Seva Karpov as part of their Master’s thesis at NTNU (Norwegian University of Science and Technology). To date, the company has grown to employ over 15 NTNU students and graduates.
Startup founder and CEO Tobias Drage Roti met Sander Engevik, CFO of OmniMod, at the NTNU School of Entrepreneurship. Both have worked together to close this round of financing, which will further accelerate the development of their solutions. In collaboration with the main players in the sector, OmniMod has several projects underway to successfully bring the new technology to the market.
“We at Element Logic are very impressed with OmniMod and what has been achieved in such a short time,” said Dag-Adler Blakseth, CEO of Element Logic, highlighting the team’s “capability of innovative packet sequencing and classification concepts using the use of AI is really admirable. It is a great competitive advantage over other players in the field of automation.”
