Its system is focused on distributors and manufacturers, mainly in sectors such as consumer goods, chemicals, construction or food, and who do not have a fleet of their own trucks, so that, through Eaship, they can count on a network of transporters with just a ‘click’. But, in addition, they can do so quickly and with a wide variety of transport companies so that they can choose the one that best meets their needs. “Generally, each shipment generates a lot of communications and inefficiencies and the information is often opaque because there is no traceability between manufacturer, transporters and end customer. And that is a problem that we solve,” explains the CEO of Eaship, Ramón Pascual.
The company was founded just a few months ago by Pascual and César Castillo, CTO, two entrepreneurs who a few years ago founded Flowit, a digital freight transport operator and whose evolution is Eaship. From that experience, in which they made more than 1,000 shipments for large companies such as Dacsa or Porcelanosa, the idea arose to scale the business to generate a tool in which it is the user, that is, the companies, who manage their own transport.
In this way, their program allows the user to create a profile with a dashboard to manage rates, generate regular routes, notify shipments to carriers to receive their rate proposals, automate communications with customers and control the status of orders. In this way, the company obtains greater efficiency, since, instead of having to send emails looking for transport companies, it sends a notice and its request is automated, so that the registered carriers offer their rates and the company decides which proposal is the best fit.
