Joan Amatllé, Director of the Actemium Spain Perimeter, began his speech at the UN2 Event with a vision of the future and the opportunities that await the brand.
The speed of advances mean that, when Industry 4.0 has not yet been digested, we are already at 5.0, with a much more relevant weight to efficiency, productivity and sustainability.
Next, Eloy Hernández, Commercial Director, and Chris Grandgeorge, Director of the Automotive line, took the floor, who analyzed what Actemium does in said industry.
Automotive is undoubtedly one of the most relevant, as the figures reflect, since 7 out of 10 cars manufactured in Europe go through facilities designed and created by Actemium. In this sense, Eloy Hernández addressed the main trends and challenges of the automotive sector and how Actemium provides “turnkey” and personalized solutions for the client, demonstrating the work of integrators that the brand has.
Also highlighted was Actemium’s ability to integrate machines, start them up and maintain them, and to offer differential adapted solutions that respond to the great challenge facing the sector today: the integration of electric batteries into assembly lines.
On the other hand, Actemium’s activity in other industries such as aeronautics was reviewed, with the maintenance and execution of production lines, assembly and disassembly; logistics, chemistry, robotics or infrastructure, with transversal development processes and automation as the cornerstone.
Lastly, Fernando Martínez highlighted the role of Actemium in providing port solutions, through the decarbonisation of different types of ships using biofuels such as hydrogen and the new OPS systems, pioneers in Spain thanks to VINCI Energies Spain with its pilot project in Barcelona.
