Your responsibilities
Preventing mistakes and defects in products and avoiding problems when delivering solutions or services to customers.
Focusing on preventing issues rather than just control, and driving the utilization of process management to deliver consistent results.
Ensuring that effective internal controls are in place to verify that processes continue to meet requirements and that control plans are followed and effective.
Making sure that the customer’s voice is represented in the local business, and presenting the management team with customer experience feedback.
Enabling and coaching all employees to evaluate risks, problems and solutions from a customer/stakeholder point of view.
Assisting the Engineering function with product data and evaluations, and validating APQP plans to ensure effective introduction of new products.
Performing audits and ensuring the use of analytics to identify risks, failures and non-conformances, and ensuring that appropriate action is taken.
Working with HR to ensure that the local quality team is staffed, developed and directed.
Your background
8 years of experience in Quality departments, working as Quality Manager with hardware and software products and their safety design standards.
Sound knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and internal / external audits in the industrial sector (automotive).
Valuable experience with customers and suppliers.
Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 standards.
A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.
University degree and training in Engineering or similar.
Fluent in Spanish and English.
