This box in an unmistakable yellow colour was designed and built under the ODETTE project (Organization for Data Exchange by Tele Transmission in Europe), launched in 1985 to create harmonised standards for containers for the handling and transporting of small volumes and quantities.
The project brought together a number of important Italian and international companies, particularly in the automotive industry. It was this close collaboration with the heads of the European automotive industry that resulted in a box of this type.
