Your responsibilities
Serves as subject matter expert and first line of approval for ABB integrity processes such as third-party due diligence, employee conflict of interest reviews, etc.
Serves as part of a team of lawyers providing legal support to ABB’s global legal community.
Provides support in drafting, reviewing, and analyzing agreements and other legal documents.
Performs legal research with the assistance of global research tools and prepares memoranda for senior lawyers.
Prepares summaries of contracts highlighting key risks.
Participates and leads projects and legal operations tasks.
Prepares slides in PowerPoint and reports in Excel.
Your background
Master’s degree from an accredited law school and bar admission.
At least 2+ years in commercial law and contractual work, preferably in a corporate environment.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Comprehensive understanding of contractual legal matters.
Strong drafting, organization, and time management skills.
At least two years’ experience with integrity and due diligence processes.
Proficient skillset in Microsoft Office tools including PowerPoint and Excel and general understanding of legal technology and operations platforms.
Prefer candidates with experience with contracts for the purchase of and sale of goods and services.
A results-oriented professional with strong common sense and superior business acumen.
Proficient written and spoken communication skills in English.
Preference given to candidates with additional fluency in Italian, German, Russian, Arabic, or Chinese.
