Government forces transport companies to install electric charging points

A new regulation approved by the Government, at the request of the Ministry of Ecological Transition, requires that from 2023 all non-residential buildings with a car park with more than 20 parking spaces must install electric charging points in these parking areas.

Specifically, in parking areas with more than 20 parking spaces, they must have a minimum number of electric vehicle charging infrastructure facilities proportional to the total number of spaces, at a rate of one charging station for every 40 parking spaces or fraction thereof, up to 1,000 spaces, and one more charging station for every additional 100 spaces or fraction thereof.
