Logistics technology trends to watch out for

Process automation, blockchain, AI and ML, IoT and TMS are the top trends that logistics organisations should take advantage of this year, says DispatchTrack.
Digital technology adoption accelerated between 2020 and 2022 as the Covid-19 pandemic continued to influence everything from e-commerce to the global supply chain, and thus the logistics industry also had to adapt quickly.

In this exercise, digitisation and last-mile software are proving to be efficient tools for B2B delivery operations, B2C businesses, carriers, shippers, etc., says Felipe Porter, vice president of Latam Sales at DispatchTrack. For DispatchTrack, it is a certainty that companies will continue to automate many of their processes at different levels, depending on the size of their warehouse or distribution centre, as well as the volume and types of orders they regularly fulfil.
  2. Blockchain technology: Digital decentralisation…
